Thanks so much for the hospitality the folks in Ellensburg extended to everyone at this year's conference. The Evergreen staff have been contacting me and posting on our Moodle site with their insights from the Conference. Hosting an event of this magnitude requires a herculean effort on top of the regular day-to-day operations of a writing center staff and PNWCA Board. The Evergreen Writing Center staff and I are grateful to Teresa and all the folks at Central and to the members of the PNWCA who made this year's event memorable, inspiring, and CENTRAL to our on going work. I also am most honored to learn that I will be serving this exceptional organization as Treasurer for the next two years. I look forward to joining Ann Harrington and the other returning PNWCA Board members to extend the legacy of the Board's work. I hope an early task for this newly configured Board will be to address the recent news from the English Department at the University of Washington. Best to all, Sandy
