Dear PNWCA 08 Guests, Greetings from the Writing Center at Everett Community College, host to the 5th Annual PNWCA Regional Conference, “Are We Having Fun, Yet?” We can’t believe that all our planning and anticipation is almost over. We are looking forward to welcoming all of you next Friday and Saturday, April 25 and 26th. [b]The program for the conference is attached and can be found at the bottom of this post.[/b] Here are a few program details: Larry Nichols from Seattle U. will lead a panel discussion of Writing Center Alums in a pre-conference workshop, 4:00-6:00 pm on Friday, April 25, in the Parks Building. Registration on Saturday opens at 8:00 am in the Parks Building Lobby. At 9:00 we will gather for a keynote address with Shanti Bruce. Lunch, morning and mid-afternoon snacks will be provided. Parking on our campus is free. We will have signs posted to direct you. Keynote, lunch, and closing sessions will be in the Parks Building. All concurrent sessions will be in the Whitehorse Building. Think about bringing an umbrella. Bring some of your best “stuff” for the materials exchange table.
